What is Arknights: Endfield?

Arknights: Endfield is a Real-Time 3D RPG with strategic elements developed by Hypergryph, the creators of the acclaimed tower defense title Arknights. Set in the same universe but on a different planet, Talos-II, the game introduces a completely new cast of characters and a storyline independent of the original game.

Players assume the role of the Endministrator, a legendary figure within Endfield Industries. Your primary objective is to lead a team of operators to explore the dangerous frontiers of Talos-II, secure anomalies, and establish a foothold for civilization amidst the threat of the Aggelos—mysterious crystalline entities that corrupt the land.

Unlike open-world gacha games like Genshin Impact, Endfield emphasizes strategic resource management and base building alongside combat. The gameplay loop seamlessly integrates exploration with the construction of the Automated Industrial Complex (AIC), allowing players to refine raw materials into essential gear and upgrade modules.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

Real-Time Strategic Combat

Combat in Endfield is fast-paced yet tactical. You control a squad of four operators, switching between them instantly to execute skills. The key to victory lies in the Break System. Enemies have a "Poise Gauge" (displayed as a yellow bar). Depleting this gauge puts them in a Staggered state, increasing damage taken significantly.

  • Breakers: Use heavy weapons to deplete Poise quickly.
  • Casters: Deal massive damage to Staggered targets.
  • Chain Skills: Timing ultimates together triggers powerful QTE combos.

The AIC System (Base Building)

The Automated Industrial Complex (AIC) is the backbone of your progression. You aren't just fighting; you are building a logistics network. Players must connect power lines, set up conveyor belts, and manage fabricators to automate the production of EXP chips and weapon enhancement materials.

  • Power Management: Balance energy output from reactors.
  • Logistics: Optimize conveyor routes to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Refinement: Turn raw ores found in the wild into high-tier alloys.

Beginner's Guide: First Steps on Talos-II

01

Prioritize the Main Story

Many systems, including the Gacha and advanced AIC buildings, are locked behind story progression. Rush through Chapter 1 to unlock your full arsenal.

02

Understand Elemental Reactions

Endfield features an elemental system (Heat, Cryo, Volt, etc.). Combining elements creates reactions. For example, Heat + Cryo creates Fusion, dealing burst damage. Check our Operator Database to build a team with synergistic elements.

03

Save Your Oroberyls

As a F2P player, resources are scarce. Do not spend Oroberyls on standard banners unless you need a specific 6-Star meta unit like The Endministrator or Perlica. Always check our Redemption Codes page for free currency before pulling.
